East Hollywood Energy Conservation & Safety Grant

The East Hollywood Energy Conservation & Safety Grant program will pay for energy retrofits on your home that may save you hundreds of dollars a year in utility costs. This program is a collaboration between Enterprise Home Ownership Partners (EHOP) and the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles (CRA/LA).

How will this program make my home more environmentally efficient?
Eligible homes will be evaluated by a licensed professional to determine which of the below items will deliver the maximum energy savings. Based on the evaluation, eligible homeowners will be able to choose up to $5,000 worth of home improvements from the following upgrades:

A. Replacement of 1or 2 window A/C units
B. Installation of a tankless water heater: provides hot water exclusively on demand
C. Application of ceiling & under floor insulation: includes an attic fan or vent
D. Installation of seismic safety valves (this is a mandatory installation for the program)

Why should I participate?
You can improve the energy efficiency of your home by as much as 40%, saving you hundreds of dollars a year in utility costs. In addition, these improvements can increase the overall value of your home.

Am I going to have to pay for this?
Absolutely not! This program is fully financed by CRA and Enterprise Home Ownership Partners and is available on a first come, first serve basis. This program is supported by Councilmembers Eric Garcetti and Tom LaBonge.

Who is eligible?
East Hollywood/Beverly-Normandie homeowners who live in the highlighted section in the map below. Applicants must also fall below the following income requirements.
