Green Grants for Homeowners

Enterprise Home Ownership Partners in conjunction with Enterprise Community Partners and local government entities realize that many home owners of all financial means are concerned with the environment, but don’t have the fiscal capacity to make many expensive changes.  The Green Grants programs are funded by local authorities and Enterprise to help existing low-income homeowners make needed upgrades to their home at no cost to them.

In Los Angeles, many homes lack adequate insulation, working heating and AC units and have antiquated and inefficient water heating systems.  Based on the location, the Green Grant will help provide:

  • New tank-less water heaters
  • Insulation
  • Seismic shut off valves
  • New wall heaters or AC units
  • In some instances, installation of Photovoltaic (Solar Panels) on the home.

These benefits are two fold, low-income homeowners are provided with new and efficient tools that will help lower their energy costs and water usage and the new systems are green and help our environment as well.

Below are links to the applications for our current Green Grant areas.  If you live within any of theses borders, own your home and have an annual income at or below 80% of Average Median Income (chart provided) you may qualify for many of these upgrades.
